The villages

The work of Les Vignerons du Mont Ventoux extends over 5 communes :

In the heart of a very popular tourist region, Bedoin is a village synonymous with good living.

Its geographical location, at the foot of Mont Ventoux, is why it is known as the ideal starting point for a great many hiking and cycling tours.

An example?
The enchantment of this Provencal village weaves its spell throughout the year, notably in summer when the population here multiplies by 5!

Bedoin is also the home of  Les Vignerons du Mont Ventoux. In fact our head office, cellar and winery are based in Bedoin.

How about some refreshment?
The Vaucluse, our department, like most of France, is often the victim of drought. While, in Bedoin, water is everywhere, as the village boasts no less than 15 fountains, and that’s not including all those in the surrounding hamlets.

A little peace?
Due to early pacification in the area, numerous hamlets appeared in and around Bedoin. There are around thirty today, a rarity in the Vaucluse.

Flassan is a pleasant village nestled on the slopes of Mont Ventoux. You won’t fail to fall under the charm of the ochre-facade houses that make Flassan so very picturesque. With its 346 inhabitants, the village is like one big happy family, where everyone knows everyone else. The main resources of the village are first and foremost agriculture, followed by tourism.

A picturesque little village (400 inhab.) with lovely stonework houses, dominating the neighbouring countryside, affording a superb view of Mont Ventoux. At the end of the 19th century, in honour of their heroic lord, Louis de Balbe de Crillon, also known as the “brave among the brave”, the Council decided to name the village “Crillon le Brave”. The statue of Captain Crillon le Brave welcomes you at the entrance to the village.
